Crowd Funding Campaign for Fall 2016
NASC is a start up, and as such, it doesn’t have current funds or credit. Nonetheless, there are costs! At this point they are modest, but they are critical. Obviously, we need the basic tools to run a non-profit in which all Board Directors live at some distance from each other. We need to finance basic marketing and our website. The filing for a 501c(3) has costs. And most important (and expensive) is placing deposits on a venue for our 2017 conference.
Here is our very modest budget for 2016:
Payments to Reserve 2017 Venue and Site Visits - $7,000
Non-Profit Filing Fees - $1,300
Website, Project Management, Email Service, Video Conferencing, Insurance, and other Basic Administration - $1,000
Marketing and Professional Services - $700
Total - $10,000
