By Barry Krost, M.A., BCTMB Organizers of the North American Systemic Constellations Conference have established a non-profit organization to grow the constellations community in United States, Canada and Mexico. The organization, titled North American Systemic Constellations, or NASC, is designed to create and support educational conferences and other learning experiences that support the growth and development of systemic constellations as a healing modality, help create community and connections and provide quality learning experience for participants in the art of systemic constellations so that the far-reaching benefits of systemic constellations can be shared with everyone. Constellations conferences started in the United States in 2005 and have grown through the years. The most recent conference took place in 2015 in San Diego and attracted about 245 participants, coming from throughout the United States as well as Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, Germany, Mexico, New Zealand, South Africa, Russia and Venezuela. We are looking forward to our next North American conference scheduled for Oct. 5-8, 2017 in Virginia Beach, Va. The new website is www.nasconstellations.org with social media links on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest and LinkedIn. A transition committee, including volunteers who planned the 2015 North American conference, put together the basic structure of the organization, and a brand-new board is expanding and refining the details. Its non-profit status will allow for fund-raising and grant writing; donations to the organization will be tax-deductible. Our goals include:
