Cosmic Constellations: Value, Benefits, How To Facilitate & More
Jack Blackwell A Cosmic awareness has been rising for many facilitators lately. I believe as Constellation facilitators we've been called to support raising consciousness for humanity, first through ancestral healing and now through Cosmic healing. Currently I work with 5 levels of consciousness - Current life issues, childhood wounds, ancestral entanglements, unresolved past life and now Cosmic challenges. For me, any Family Constellation can turn into a Cosmic Constellation and a Cosmic Constellation can turn into a Family Constellation. I've seen both. Working with Cosmic energies is slightly different than working with ancestral Fields. More grounding, more Light, different support representatives can be called in. This presentation will share how to hold a Cosmic Field, the differences from Family Constellations and how to maintain safety. I'll also demo a Cosmic Constellation for you. For a long time Constellation facilitators have been supporting raising consciousness using ancestral healing. For those who desire it, this is a next step. |
Returning Home: Constellations to Connect Our African Ancestral Wisdom
Anne Sexton Bryan We turn our hearts in a new direction, beyond what we usually consider to be the source of our collective ancestral wisdom. Our humanitys beginnings in Africa offer us a unique point to connect through constellation work. My intention is to offer an experiential constellation workshop to reconnect to this deep ancestral wisdom. I believe we can source support and guidance to strengthen and heal our foundation as constellators and healers to carry back into our lives and world work. We will hope to draw forth not just wisdom but also a new healed energy of peace, wholeness, oneness and joy. Why is this important now? Our deep human ancestry is African. Our beginnings have been genetically proven through our DNA that our homo sapien ancestors originated in East Africa. At a pivotal point about 60,000 years ago, our ancestral family dwindled to possibly 2000 or less due to what we can only guess were great difficulties and our family decided to split. Some stayed behind and others ventured into the vast unknown to carry life forward and populate the world. Together, they evolved a diverse, culturally rich, colorful population that adapted to the land and conditions they found across the African continent and throughout the world. While indisputable, our common origin and connection to each other as global relatives is not acknowledged and accepted, and even seems impossible and incomprehensible. Tracing our path back to this point, I believe we can source a Wisdom of Oneness from Mother Africa held in our DNA to inform our purpose and path going forward. By working to expand our conscious awareness in this way, we can embody a more cohesive, inclusive and healed peace and wholeness amongst ourselves and our group to carry back into our lives, families, communities and countries. |
A Shamanic Approach to Spirit Mind Constellations
Peter and Jamy Faust Bert Hellinger taught three levels of facilitating Family Constellations; Facilitator Directed, Movements of the Soul and Spirit Mind Constellations. The third and most advanced form requires a total surrender on the part of the client, representatives and facilitator to go as deep into the collective field of consciousness, not only to the very roots of the clients trauma but also to the roots of the family and collective trauma of human consciousnesses. The facilitator, representatives and the observing participants travel with the client energetically to the ancestral field and beyond to retrieve a healing response. The constellation then in effect becomes a Healing event for those in the room with a similar wound. Our Shamanic perspective and understanding of Spirit Mind constellations will be offered at the beginning of the presentation. The Constellation process will be guided through the use of music and Shamanic instruments such as drum, rattle, Kalimba and bells to support going to the spirit realms and back out to consensus reality. |
Phenomenological Explorations: Structure and Power in Constellations
Deborah Gavrin Frangquist and Jonathan Hooton This session offers experiential exploration of constellation structure and facilitator stance as they influence power dynamics in Constellations. We will work with seating arrangements, including where the facilitator and client place themselves, and with internal stances such as the effect of social hierarchies on how the facilitator, client, and representatives make meaning in Constellations. Through simple but profound exercises, utilizing representative perception, you will become more adept at acknowledging the power structures and how power structures operate in the workshop itself.. What you experience in this session will be applicable not only to individual constellations but to workshops and trainings, including on topics beyond systemic constellations. |
Living with a Backpack of Inherited Guilt
Inga Freudenberg and Annemeike Meersra - Van Putten We would like to start with an historical introduction of the mutual position and perception of Germans and Europeans before and after world war 11. Now 75 years after liberation of the occupied countries. We will proceed with a personal story about the impact of guilt from the German role in World War II. The inherited shade of guilt installed though the destructions, occupations and Holocaust. The effect on a German descendant illustrated in the biography of a little German girl coming to live in the Netherlands. We than would like to install polarities like: guilt, shame and innocence victim and offender judgement about good and bad freedom in captivity impossible choices security and fear power and helplessness After that we would like to focus on the recognition of inherited guilt by letting the participants reflect on their own inherent guilt by actions of their nations, tribe or ancestors and how that effects them. Exercise labyrinth of impossible choices. The participants experience the impossible choices people had to make and the guilt that comes with it. During the constellations we use the input of the group combined with the above mentioned themes. The last part will be about coping with the guilt. We will work with a circle constellation about guilt and coping. At the end the German ancestor will tell her story how she coped with her ancestral inherited guilt and the wisdom she gained from it. The participants will reflect on their personal gained wisdom from their ancestral guilt. At last we will reflect and evaluate upon the workshop |
Resolving Systemic Schizophrenia
Barry Krost Schizophrenia and its psychotic behaviors are a systemic symptom. Individuals who are diagnosed as schizophrenic are expressing the illness in the system. Schizophrenia is the result of a murder within a family system that was concealed. In such systems, the energies of the murderer, the victim and those who concealed the crime are entwined, creating conflicting and paradoxical entanglements. Everyone in the system suffers until the entanglements can be resolved and peace can prevail. Bert Hellinger suggested that family members not diagnosed as schizophrenic could make a difference in helping with the pain surrounding those affected. There is work to do that can be helpful for everyone in the system and potentially those who suffer the most. Following an overview of the topic we will set up one or more Family Constellations. A handout will be included. Resolving Systemic Schizophrenia - Workshop Materials -https://www.healingbodytherapeutics.com/schizophrenia.html Standing with Ancestral Protection and Strength Barry Krost Everyone relaxes when the ancestral protective energy of men is rediscovered. This is particularly true in systems where fathers are absent, powerless or small. When our father is not available to protect us and keep us safe there are systemic resources that can help us through moments of challenge and trauma. Instinctively we reach out for the strength of men to shield us from harm, an ancestral energy that keeps us alive and well. This strength does not always reside in men but can also flow from ancestral women and other ancestors not bound by traditional norms of sexuality and gender who are connected with this unique protective and stabilizing energy. |
The Transformational Power Triangle of Facilitation
Andrea Bosbach Largent In this experiential presentation we explore Facilitator skills needed to unbind abusive paradigms. The power structures within abuse hold the capacity to move a group, a process, a facilitation into re-petition of original injury. The potential for repetition naturally shows up as we engage with abusive paradigms, and its presence is part of the essential trauma release. As Facilitators our listening skills, our conscience and consciousness are asked to be as sharp as a surgeon’s scalpel. Rightfully so! Let’s sharpen our ears, our perceptivity, and our capacity to hold, and withhold power-filled seductions. And get clear on the Transformational Power Triangle as it guides us through the maze of abuse, unbinding it for times to come, and most of all: for the client next to you. Personal work is welcomed. Presentation will ask for volunteers from the audience to work with live while presenting. Case demonstrations from my practice will substitute if needed. This will be an experiential Learning Circle for advanced practitioners. It has relevance for multiple types of abuse, including: Ritual Abuse, Physical Abuse, Sexual Abuse, and Psychic Abuse. |
To the Heart of the Matter: Re-discovering Presence, Vitality and Creativity
Bill Mannle, LMFT Finding your way in the field can be difficult. Often a facilitator will become immobilized, feel frustrated, alone, and set drift without a compass. This can be the result of hidden loyalties in the therapist’s family system, past trauma or fear, being activated by the client’s system. In this brief workshop, using short exercises and rituals, we will look deeply into the self of the facilitator, identifying personal blocks and blind spots, discover resources to help us to remain open and present, and re-connect to our creativity and vitality. We will seek the existential moment that takes us forward. We will also learn to: Get in touch with hidden gifts that are always available Let go of old ideas, beliefs and programming that keep you stuck. Learn brief, powerful exercises to the get to what is essential and that can be shared in with your groups or clients. The workshop is designed to compel the facilitator toward a deep introspection, while at the same time providing a safe space to develop heart and soul presence, and a path toward clarity and authenticity. |

Group Constellation Exercises for Careers, Creativity and Money
Dina Ostrovsky In this seminar, I will share my experience working with Family Constellation method in the area of careers, creativity, and money. I plan to offer four group exercises related to this topic. 1. "Money and creativity" exercise 2. "Blessing from ancestors for the right to step into creative journey " exercise. 3. "Be visible in society" exercise. 4. "Money flow limitations" exercise 5. "Getting support from the community" ritual. These exercises arrived from my experience of leading a yearly educational program in TERRApia School of Transformation. The School is based on Family and System Constellations and Process Oriented psychology methods. Most of the clients come to the School for career enchantment or change. The results of the students who take the yearly program are pretty impressive. For example, in the year 2018/19 from 18 students, who were involved in the program 16 changed their jobs or advanced in careers throughout this year. |
From Shame and Entanglement to Resilience: Leveraging the Neuroscience of Trauma and Unconscious Contracts in Constellations
Sarah Peyton Shame is a burden that many facilitators and clients carry. It can ride heavily on bodies and immune systems, and be remarkably persistent, even across generations. It immobilizes clients creates blocks to forward movement, lessens immune system responses, and decreases people’s access to meaning and shortens their lifespans. If we can recognize the signs of persistent shame states in ourselves and our clients, we can take direct action to better people’s lives and their physical and emotional well-being. The more clearly we can see our clients, the easier it is to make decisions about where to direct our constellation work. When we know the neuroscience of shame and resilience, we can use our knowledge to help us support transformation for ourselves and our clients. In this workshop, participants will: - Learn the neuroscience of shame and how it relates to trauma - Recognize the cues that a client is in a shame state - Take away knowledge about left and right brain hemispheres, when we are hearing the voice of each, and how to decode these voices into healing sentences - Understand the persistence of shame states and how to free clients from decades of shame - Practice Unconscious Contract work in the context of releasing intergenerational shame As facilitators, we can also be immobilized by transgenerational shame, a shame that can keep us from even doing our work in the world. If you have any sense of being immobilized in your professional life, this workshop is for you, personally, as well as being a support in your client work. |
Exploring the Intersection of Systemic Constellation Work (SCW) and the Practice of Organizational Development (OD)
Ellen Raboin There is an abiding interest in the SCW community regarding how systemic work can best applied in organizational settings. This session will explore this topic from the perspective of the systemic facilitator who is already working within an organization as an organizational development practitioner. This session is a follow up from the 2017 conference, OC/OD panel discussion, which inspired the launch of the Keystone Conversations, a bi-monthly webinar for practitioners who are interested in integrating SCW into their practice. The purpose and desired outcomes of 2020 session are three fold; 1) continue to define and build the OC/OD community that was established in 2017 at Virginia Beach 2) strengthen this informal network for continued education and peer support in the application of SCW in an OD setting 3) Hold the space for what wants to be noted and/or emerge from the field of this new community. |
Honoring the Excluded
Jim Shine One of the core principles of Systemic Constellation Work is that everyone in a family has a place, regardless of their behavior. When a person or persons is excluded from the system, entanglements can result in other parts of the system. For example, an exclusion in one generation of a family can have adverse effects on a person or persons in later generations of that family. This workshop will help participants learn about exclusion, both in general and in their own life, and will offer tools to honor the excluded and bring them back into their place, including healing statements and simple ceremonies. |
Quantum Activation: Directed 3 Step Constellations
Gary Stuart A spontaneous, non-traditional way to get to the deepest core of any working clients issue in 10-20 minutes. There’s no family history reenactment, the facilitator trusts their observations and intuitive impulses. Active facilitation coaching the verbal expression for the Rep. This creates systemic resolution and healthy boundaries for the working client under 20 minutes or less. The client takes a closing bow to the past before turning 180 degrees moving towards the present and future. The facilitator, rep and client close out the 10-20-minute Constellation session with all involved. The working Client picks their own Subject with Goal then shares Subject and Goal with the facilitator only before picking their Rep. All information is blindly concealed from the group until the end of the session. A releasing Bow and healing statements closes the session. A short group discussion for clarity and deeper insights enhancing the cognitive context for the client their Rep plus attendees. Step 1. Single Subject, Step 2. Single Goal, Step 3. Single Rep What I’ve discovered after 21 + years of Constellations is that the Knowing Field activates with vocal vibration of verbalized systemic truths to complete the expression of what’s hidden. The energy of the resolution quickly emerges from the working clients Rep. to what needs to be stated or cleared. The Rep is tested spatially to where they are drawn backwards, behind = past and facing forward = present and future. There is no need for facilitator to have any foreknowledge of the client’s personal history. Using the clients chosen Subject with an intentionally positive Goal along with a Rep or maybe 2 at most is sufficient. Of course, the facilitator’s responsibility is to tune into what’s energetically necessary which will address Ancestral lineage in Real time plus concise closing healing statements. It’s quite different than the normal passive Constellation facilitation. Where trial and error can add endless generational Reps or dead Reps laying on the floor to slowly get the bigger picture. When the Constellation facilitator verbally states what needs to be expressed while following the systemic principles like hierarchy or whatever presents itself is of the utmost importance. I always have stated for over 2 decades the Knowing Field doesn’t mess around. The facilitator takes charge with courage and an open compassionate heart plus sensitivity with intimate awareness is most of what’s needed. The Ancestors and even a single rep can quickly give us all the information needed. Directed Constellations cut to the chase for a faster and deeper resolution in a shorter period of time. In some cases, many Clients were shocked at what randomly came through so quickly. Reading the Reps body language is imperative and tuning into the larger fields energetic backstory is too. The Rep always knows when a core truth is verbalized which allows physical or emotional somatic symptoms instantly disappear. We always end with a working client bow (to the past) with a healing statement or a support request. This is followed by a short supportive group discussion for added impact and insights gained. |
