Land Constellation: Immigration, Colonization and Relating to the Ancestors of the Soil
Tanja Meyburgh, South Africa 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Sunday, November 14 In many sacred traditions the first thing we do when we arrive in a new place is to greet the Ancestors of the Soil. These are the people and the beings that lived and were buried there before we came - right back to the very first people. This relating lays the foundations for the work and relationships to unfold in a good way in the new place. How do we come into relationship with the Ancestors from the lands where we live and originate from? This experience will include community, constellation, ceremony and ritual. About the presenter Tanja Meyburgh is a highly trained and experienced professional registered with the HPCSA as a counseling psychologist. Tanja is one of the founders of Systems Constellations training in South Africa, and has immersed herself and specialized deeply into this field since 2003. She is also the chairperson of the Systems Constellations Association of South Africa. Tanja’s personal and professional journey in therapy has included her interest in narrative therapy, dance, story-telling, wilderness experience, and learning about lineage wisdom based in Southern African traditions. As well as private practice, Tanja has therapeutic and organisational consulting experience in NGO settings in South Africa, including organisations involved with HIV, trauma, political violence, adoption, addiction and community development. She has published and presented at conferences and international intensives in the subjects of Family Constellations, Land Constellations and Ancestral traditions and healing practices. Tanja’s is particularly interested in embodied practice and soul work with the people that seek her assistance, and she is committed to practicing with integrity, authenticity and in a way that empowers her clients. Humanity Finding Our Place in the Flow of Life: A Collective Constellation
Diana Claire Douglas, Cananda 1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Sunday, November 14 What if many of our present crises are because we are not in our right place and therefore cannot be in right relationship? Many Indigenous Peoples around the world tell stories about human beings as the youngest members of the earthly family. What will it take for humanity to know that we belong to the Earth not as dominators, but as lovers of the Earth and all her beings? About the presenter Diana Claire Douglas., Systemic facilitator, coach and consultant, (for individuals, families, organizations, and the collective), founder of Knowing Field Designs: Aligning Human Systems with Life, social architect, artist and author. She is the lead facilitator of Systemic Constellation Work (SCW) on the international core teams of The Hague Centre and Integral City. She is participating in the evolution of an emerging branch of SCW — collective constellations — through facilitating monthly gatherings, retreats, workshops, on-line sessions and presenting at international conferences. At the Integral European Conference 2018 she was on the planning and facilitation team for the Big Community Constellation where 400 conference attendees participated in constellating “Restoring Peace in Europe.” With colleagues she has been co-creating the research and real-world implementation of The Conscious Witness Project. Her work in the constellation field is published in The Knowing Field International Journal, the Integral Leadership Review, and included as chapters in two books. And now she is writing her own book called Constellating for the Collective!
